Nothing great is finished alone.

Every creative person owns a graveyard: the demo that needed a voice, the script that needed a director, the artwork that needed the right words. Talent was never the problem. Finding the other half of it was.

Co-Laboration started with a hard drive full of almost-finished songs. Chords without choruses. Verses without beats. Each one had been abandoned not because the idea was weak, but because the person who could complete it was a stranger — somewhere out there, sitting on their own pile of halves.

The tools for making work have never been more accessible. A bedroom is a studio, a phone is a film set, a laptop is a publishing house. But the tools for finishing work — for finding the collaborator whose skills end where yours begin — never kept up. Social platforms reward posting, not completing. They're built for audiences, not partnerships.

What we're building

Co-Laboration is a creative network with one job: to close the gap between started and finished. You post the work as it actually is — a rough mix, a first draft, a storyboard — and say precisely what it needs. A vocalist. A colourist. A letterer. The network is built to answer.

Discovery runs on craft, not clout. You find people by niche, genre, skill and location — and you can see who is open to collaborate right now. Visibility controls mean an unfinished idea is only ever as public as you want it to be: shared with everyone, your followers, a hand-picked few, or kept private until it's ready.

And when a collaboration finishes, it counts. The completed work carries every contributor's name — credit that lives on your profile as proof of what you've shipped together, not just what you've posted.

Where we're going

We're starting with music, because that's where our own graveyard was. But the gap between started and finished is universal — so film-making, screenwriting, illustration, photography and writing lanes are already live, with more to come as the community asks for them.

The long-term ambition is simple to say and hard to do: make finding a collaborator as easy as finding a listener. A network where the answer to “I can't finish this alone” is always “you don't have to.”
